Knut Hesterberg for Ronald Schmitt 'Propeller' table, 1974

Knut Hesterberg is a world-renowned German sculptor who started his career at a graphic art and design studio in Zurich, Switzerland, where he came into contact with the architect and artist Max Bill, who had a major influence on his future work. He has exhibited his sculptures all over Europe and many of his large-scale sculptures are permanently installed in public spaces all over Germany and a few in Italy.

This table is constructed in the form of a propeller made of aluminum in combination with a round table top, made of strong and clear glass.
