Kartell ‘Model 4905/6/7’ side tables, Giotto Stoppino

Giotto Stoppino was born in Milan in 1926. He studied in Venice and then in Milan, where he graduated in 1951. From 1953 to 1968 he worked in Vittorio Gregotti’s studio “Architetti Associati”.
At the same time, he joined the Industrial Design Association (A.D.I.), of which he was chairman from 1982 to 1984. In the late 1960s, Stoppino founded his own architecture and design studio.

Side tables (Model 4905/6/7) designed by Stoppino for Kartell in 1968. The Compasso d’Oro design prizes have been awarded in Milan since 1954, where this table set won a prize in 1970.
